Co-production values

There has been a shift towards an emphasis on the application of values of co-production, rather than relying on a "cover all" definition.

For those new to the concept of co-production or those who are seeking a way to justify its inclusion in a project (or because they have to), the large number of values are only overshadowed by the thousands of definitions of co-production.

In our work, we synthesised hundreds of definitions to identify forty values for co-production and co-design. You can access the entire list for free here which explains what each value means and provides a supporting definition. We have been careful not to recommend a specific definition or value (these should be decided together) but there is one which we feel is essential:
